Oh my, I had such a weird day yesterday. I've only just recovered enough now to write this. I got up as normal and went out for my morning pee but instead of going in for breakfast we went straight to the car. It was unusual and I was starving! Where were we going I thought? Maybe an adventure? Maybe a road trip? Nope, we ended up at that horrible place where I get jagged with spiky things, get my ears looked in to and get prodded at. I think they call it the vet.
Well usually mum stays with me but she left me today, I was so afraid. Why wasn't she staying? Had I been bad? I sat around for a while wondering what was going on and then they took me to that big white room where I get put on the table. It's funny cause I'm never allowed on the tables at home! I got jagged again and then everything went dark. I think I fell asleep. I don't know what happened after that, next thing I knew I was awake but everything seemed fuzzy and wobbly and I couldn't use my legs. What had they done to me! Dad came to take me home and we cuddled on the couch for ages. It was weird cause I couldn't sleep but I was very tired. When mum came home she had a look in my mouth and at all my teeth. Dad and the vet had done this earlier on too. I don't know why but they all seemed very happy. They kept saying that I'd been a brave girl and were giving me lots and lots of cuddles too so I wasn't complaining. Anyway, I woke up today and all seems back to normal. I still have no idea what went on yesterday but I'm just glad to be back home. Here's a picture of me yesterday when things were all wobbly and out of focus. Do I look wobbly to you?

The house was smelling delicious for hours today, I couldn't stay out of the kitchen as I had to make sure whatever it was didn't escape! It turns out my mum was making sweet potato treats for me and they were DELICIOUS. Here's the recipe, you should get your mum to make you some too... You need at least 1 large sweet potato (I say the more the merrier) and then you cut it length ways in 1/4 inch strips. Set the over to 225 degrees and lay the potato slices on a baking tray that has been lined with parchment paper. Then you cook them very very slowly for at least 3 hours, turning half way, until they are all dried out and chewy. They can be stored in the fridge for a couple of weeks, if they last that long. There you go, yummy! They should come out looking like this... ...and you eat them like this... Enjoy! Love, Roxy xx
